Romany Society Events
The Society organises a series of events each year, with a residential weekend in the autumn, visiting sites associated with Romany’s life, or used by Romany in his books and broadcasts.
Until 2013 we also had open events at Romany’s Vardo, which stood in his memorial garden in Wilmslow.
The vardo has now been moved elsewhere (see the full story on the Vardo Appeal page) and so these open days have ceased.
Events and meetings 2020
The Covid-19 crisis has forced postponement of upcoming events, including our May AGM and a planned visit to Bradford Industrial Museum to view Romany’s Vardo.
New arrangements for events will be announced when the current crisis is over.
